GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Please be mindful of others. When you or a guest parks on the street, do not obstruct access by others.

When cars are parked opposite each other on each side of the street, a Wakefield Fire Engine might not fit through the space.

When a car is parked opposite a driveway, the owner of the driveway may not be able to get out without risking damage to the carelessly parked car.

Overnight street parking is forbidden. Don't risk being towed.

Habitual use of GUEST PARKING spaces by owners or occupants may result in fines or towing of your vehicle.

Are you Dumpster Smart or Dumpster Dumb?

Excerpts from the Diary of the Dumpster Diving Diva.

Did you get a new HDTV or other large goodie?

PLEASE, break down the boxes, and put them INTO the containers.

Your condo fee does not pay for cleanup of your trash from the ground. Condo fee rubbish removal covers emptying of the containers only.

DO NOT LEAVE TVs, MONITORS OR FURNITURE FOR DISPOSAL. THEY WILL NOT BE TAKEN. DISPOSAL OF THESE ITEMS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, NOT YOUR NEIGHBORS, NOT YOUR ASSOCIATIONs.

Did you know....

- that there are 2 dumpster containers?

- that they are emptied early Mon. Wed. & Fri. mornings;

- that if you didn't save your trash 'till Sunday you would probably find more room in the dumpster on any other day;

- that if you leave your trash on the ground one of your neighbors has to pick it up for you? Your monthly fees do not provide for your trashy ways;

- that if you toss your bag of refuse toward the rear of the container instead of just dropping it at the front, about twice as much trash will fit;

- that the recycle bins are NOT overflow trash bins and are for plastic or glass bottles and metal cans ONLY;

- that if boxes were broken down before disposal, considerably more room would be available in the dumpster. Doesn't seem to make sence to pay for the disposal of empty space occupied by large empty boxes, and you pay for it.
